The multifunctional nature of the community facility in effect means that Northlanders as a whole, along with visitors to the region, are also stakeholders. For example, the library is part of a district library service comprising six public libraries, five community and five area school/community libraries. The museum has a close relationship with other museum and archive organisations throughout northland. The i-SITE is one of three strategically located i-SITE visitor travel centres in the Far North and the council’s Kaitaia service centre is one of six offices located throughout the Far North.
